During the period of lockdown and restrictions, I deepened the importance of a dyadic space between my friends. And I addressed it as the first telepathic work by moving from empathy to telepathy. Telepathic sculpture is an attempt to re-establish the connection between a close friend of mine through the discovery of other means than physical or technological. The aim of this project is to bypass the barriers of space and the self. The ability to play with events, extemporaneous determinations, and reflections on what is connected beyond space in a time period afflicted by confinement is an artistic action of change. Every change is born from observation, and by overcoming what is not seen, it becomes stumbling and an impediment; it appears remote.
For the work, me and my friend synchronised for the same time yet in different locations on a series of telepathic meditations in an attempt to establish a telepathic collaboration for the completion of a sculpture. For this occasion, I prepared a box where fresh concrete was placed, and during the telepathic session, I've been sitting on it. For the second session, the concrete was dried, but I could still make modifications and write on it.

When I and Andrea Kantos began this long-distance artistic collaboration, I wasn't convinced it would work as much as I was excited about the novelty of the experiment. Until after the second session, a few words that I had written in an unconscious state on the rough surface of the concrete sculpture appeared to be the same as those my friend wrote himself. It became undeniable to me that we were indeed somehow connecting on another level than physical.
