BIO
Andrea Mineo is an artist based in Berlin. His work investigates emotional processes and expanded states of awareness through collective experience, drawing on his training in sculpture (BA), product design (MA), experimental theatre, community-base and embodied practices.
His work has been presented internationally in museums, galleries, art fairs, and institutions, including the Venice Architecture Biennale, Hangar Bicocca, the Museo del Novecento, and the Akademie der Künste.
Mineo founded Mayer Pavilion (2020), a situationist initiative exploring transdisciplinary collaborations, identity shifts and expansion of use of public/private space.
In 2025, Andrea developed Neuro-Somatic Creative Practice™, a framework that bridges artistic processes with breathing techniques to create perceptual transformation.
Statement
I create investigative performances and installations that construct participatory situations, often supported by video and sculpture.
I focus on themes of labour crisis, community, trust, mental health, and purpose, often working in overlooked or marginalized spaces through collaborative processes and subtly hacking business-driven platforms to expose their vulnerabilities and challenge dominant narratives.
