Inspired by an astronomical observatory, this installation is instead designed to observe the urban environment. Through small plexiglass portholes embedded in the structure, visitors can view local practices with the clarity of an outsider’s perspective, an experience akin to that of a traveler.

Observatorium is intended for rapidly transforming urban spaces that demand adaptability and flexibility. It can be transported by bicycle and placed in public areas. The experience inside offers a meditative, and potentially transformative, encounter with the surrounding city.
