Breathing Room

Breathing Room is an open studio event featuring a performative act: a guided breathwork session by Andrea Mineo, followed by live sets from four musicians: Growthrings, Güley, Giuseppe Bottiglieri, Serpentoso.

Through a series of recent projects, Mineo examines the vulnerability of capitalist structures and the unsustainable hunger for recognition. From creating paintings intended to be refused by museums, to transforming his studio into a TEDx venue or a temporary fitness club offering experimental breathwork sessions in partnership with Urban Sports Club, Mineo quietly rewrites, or hijacks, dominant narratives, suggesting a way to relieve from social pressures.
