KCAR is an experimental project for independent artists research support. Based on the development of a series of exhibitions set up in ateliers and apartments, is accessed by the public via hosting platforms for a minimum time of one night stay.

 

The proceeds obtained from the hosting platforms at the end of the exhibition are divided among the exhibition participants to finance the artist's research and publication of catalogs.

The program started in October 2019 as a prototype for free and self-sustainable space for art, offering a different way to experience exhibitions and at the same time elaborate an alternative support for the work of emerging artists. Today the prototype KCAR continues in various formats and scales and keeps silently inspiring curators and visitors from all around the world.
